It has been tested on windows xp sp2 and not all computers will show the effect. It depends on what computer you use.

Instructions:

Now, open your Registry Editor (Run > type regedit) and navigate to:

HKEY_LOACAL_MECHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ContentIndex

Find ‘Startup Delay’ entry and double click it. Default value is 480000. Change it to 40000

Restart computer to see the effect.

Remember: Back up your registry before making any changes to it.
